Website field notes

What belongs on a ten-page business website?

Ten pages can be plenty when each one has a clear job. Start with the questions your customers actually need answered.

A practical starting map

For a service business, consider Home, About, Contact, three individual service pages, Work, FAQ, Resources, and Privacy. That is ten distinct places to explain the offer, build confidence, and help a visitor act. It is an example, not a required template.

Adapt the map to the business

A restaurant might use Menu, Visit, Private Events, and Reservations in place of service pages. A consultant might need Approach, Expertise, Case Studies, and a booking page. A creative studio may give more room to selected work. An online store needs product and checkout requirements scoped separately from a content website.

Make expansion earn its place

Add a page when it answers a distinct question or presents distinct evidence. A cost guide, a service comparison, or a detailed project story can support the core site. Link it from the relevant service page so both readers and crawlers can find it.

Do not split a short paragraph into ten pages just to meet a package count. The plan is a capacity; the useful structure comes first. The visual page planner shows how a larger site can develop without depending on a specific industry or city.
