By Built to Appear · Practical notes from our website and search work.
Start with whether the page helps
A beautiful service page can still leave every buying question unanswered. Explain what you offer, who it suits, what affects cost, and how the process works. Add evidence you can support: real work, specific examples, and useful detail. A different site can answer the same search more completely even when the designs look similar.
Check that search engines can reach it
Look for blocked crawling, accidental noindex tags, incorrect canonical URLs, broken internal links, and redirects that lose important destinations. A sitemap helps discovery, but it does not force indexing. Search Console can show how Google has treated a URL once the property is connected.
Measure more than a speed score
Page experience matters, and excessive downloads or shifting layouts make a site harder to use. But Google uses many signals; good scores do not guarantee top results. Track the questions bringing visitors in and whether those visits become useful inquiries.
When rebuilding, preserve relevant URLs and earned links. Change content when there is a specific improvement to make, not simply to make a date look fresh. A practical monthly plan chooses a small number of improvements and records what happened.
