Start with eligibility and accuracy
A Google Business Profile is for eligible businesses that have in-person contact with customers. An online-only business should not invent an address to get a listing. For eligible businesses, check the name, category, hours, contact details, and service area.
Give people real local information
Show the services available, practical visit details, accessibility information, or work relevant to the area. A page should help a customer in that place, not just repeat the city name. Customer photos and examples should be accurate and used with permission.
Measure useful outcomes
Track relevant inquiries, visits, and profile actions where data is available. Rankings change with location and context, so a single screenshot is not a complete performance report. Local work is an optional part of the wider search plan.
